The goal of spinal manipulation is to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force into joints that have become hypomobile (restricted in movement) due to a tissue injury. Injured tissues undergo both physical and chemical changes that can result in inflammation, pain, and diminished mobility. Manipulation, or adjustment, of the affected joint and tissues restores mobility, thereby alleviating pain and muscle tightness and allowing tissues to heal. At Back-In-Action we use chiropractic manipulation, soft tissue therapy and individualized corrective exercise to get you moving & feeling better, then your body can heal better and you can return to living your life faster.
